Stephen manages locations in Vancouver's film industry. Typically working on TV commercials, he's currently managing the locations for Bad Ass Thieves, a short film being produced in Vancouver by Transmission.
Stephen began working in film in 2002, and has since worked on more than 100 productions. His experience includes working as a location manager, assistant location manager, location scout, locations assistant, production assistant, VTR assistant, art assistant, set dresser, and documenting commercial productions as photographer, boom operator and videographer.
In 2006, Stephen graduated with honours from Kwantlen Polytechnic University's journalism program, including two years of photojournalism and political science and philosophy studies. He has served as the editor of the Kwantlen Chronicle, and reporter/photojournalist for the Richmond News.
From 1997-2000, he studied theatre, English and environmental geography at Studio 58 and Langara College.
Stephen's hopes for the future include merging his journalism skills and film experience to produce documentaries. |
